Qlik, a US based software company, appoints Ankur Goel as its Managing Director for India. Ankur will be responsible for reinforcing Qlik’s local operations and leverage his expertise to build a stronger nationwide growth. He will be reporting to Geoff Thomas, Qlik’s senior vice president for the Asia Pacific region.

Commenting on his new role, Ankur says, “I am delighted to be part of this high-growth industry and am confident that together, we will drive the company’s mission of empowering people and organizations with the power of data with renewed force. Ankur possesses nearly 20 years of experience in the IT and telecommunication industry, he has held leadership position at various companies like Cisco, Ericsson, Tata, and Siemens.
In his previous role as the Managing Director of Poly he was responsible for the India & SAARC business of the company and as Regional Manager of Cisco Systems; he monitored cloud collaboration strategies, focused at building relationships within Service Provider Accounts.
