Suk Shah Joins Guaranteed Rate as its CFO

Guaranteed Rate, a retail mortgage company, appoints Suk Shah as its Chief Financial Officer to promote the company’s growth. Suk will be responsible for leading and monitoring the company’s focus on profitability and efficiency, and also supporting various growth strategies and initiatives. His contribution is expected to expand the company’s product, technology, and service solutions that would further enhance the business to drive the revenue growth and margin expansion across the organization.

Before joining Guaranteed Rate, Suk served as CFO at Avant financial technology company, where he helped raise around $600 million in equity and $4 billion in debt capital. Prior to that, Suk served as CFO of HSBC Bank for US and Canadian division, where he monitored a $40 billion loan and deposit.

Suk started his career at General Electric and was associated with the company for nearly eight years, serving various finance and operating roles, helping the company to execute business priorities and deliver financial commitments.

The young financial expert holds an Executive MBA from Northwestern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and information systems from the University of Illinois. Currently he is based in Hinsdale, Ill., along with his family.
