Rudra Global Infra is enhancing its renewable energy efforts in Gujarat, concentrating on projects for its internal consumption. The company is in the process of establishing a 3.3-megawatt wind energy initiative, with an investment surpassing Rs 32 crore.

A financial institution has approved around 75 percent of the financing for this venture, as noted in a recent communication to the stock exchange.

Additionally, the company is investigating solar and other renewable energy opportunities, targeting a cumulative capacity of 25 to 30 megawatts. The installation of the wind turbine is proceeding as planned and is projected to be operational by December 2025, expected to generate about 1.1 crore units of electricity each year.

This upcoming wind turbine will mark the fourth installation for Rudra Global Infra, raising its renewable energy capacity to 8 megawatts. This increased capacity is likely to produce roughly 1.7 crore units of power annually.

The company highlights its commitment to maximizing the use of renewable energy. Rudra Global Infra Products Ltd, formerly known as MDICL, focuses on producing thermo-mechanically treated bars and mild steel billets. The total investment for the project in Gujarat is Rs 32.28 crore.

It is expected to produce around 1.1 crore units of power each year. This will be the fourth wind turbine the company has installed, increasing its total renewable energy capacity to 8 MW, which can generate about 1.7 crore units annually.
