Sandeep Balani Associates with Jio Platforms
Sandeep Balani steps out of Outbrain where he served as Head of India to join Jio Platforms. In his new role, Sandeep would be in charge for developing supply for Jio platforms across e-commerce, gaming, OTT and news.
Sandeep was named Outbrain’s Head Of India in 2017 and worked comprehensively in advancing the market penetration of the entire range of Outbrain’s product portfolio. He had managed both the Publisher and Advertiser sides of the business to bring out a more holistic approach to the company's activity in the region. Sandeep was functional in introducing Outbrain and Zemanta platforms into the Indian market.
Prior to that, Sandeep served as Outbrain’s Director of Business Development for Engage in India with a focus on securing and reinforcing relationships with the region’s most premium publishers.
Sandeep is a seasoned digital leader in the publishing and media industry. He possesses more than 16 years of experience as a senior sales executive, and has also associated with Komli Media previously.
