SBI General Insurance Names Nainoor Desai as New Corporate Affairs Head
SBI General Insurance, a prominent general insurer in India, has named Mr. Nainoor Desai as the Business Head for Corporate Affairs. This strategic decision aligns with the company's objectives of expansion and continual development. In his new capacity, Mr. Desai will spearhead the corporate segment, overseeing services for a vast clientele exceeding 5000 businesses.
With an extensive background encompassing more than twenty years in the financial and insurance sectors, Mr. Desai brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He has served in leadership positions at reputable companies including Liberty General, Reliance General, and ICICI Lombard. Mr. Desai holds a PGDBM degree in Marketing and Rural Business from Birla Institute of Management Technology. Furthermore, he has completed specialized training and acquired numerous certifications, such as the 'Certified Internal Auditor for ISO' and a training module in 'Strategic Business Leadership' from ISB Hyderabad, among others.
Mr. Desai will be taking over from Ms. Meena Subramanian, who is set to retire this year after a distinguished career spanning over a decade with SBI General Insurance.
