With a strong track record and vast experience in hospitality finance, Shiv will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy, enhancing operational efficiencies, and driving the hotel’s ongoing success.
Shiv steps into this role following an outstanding tenure as Director of Finance at Fairfield by Marriott, Kolkata, where he distinguished himself by refining financial processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of financial discipline. His visionary leadership significantly contributed to the property’s financial performance.
Previously, Shiv served as Financial Controller at Accor, Pune, where he led financial planning, analysis, and reporting, bolstering the hotel’s financial standing. At Marriott International, Kolkata, he held senior finance roles such as Cluster Finance Manager and Assistant Manager Finance, overseeing multi-property financial operations, developing strategic plans, and delivering sustained financial growth.
Shiv’s career includes noteworthy roles with esteemed organizations such as Radisson Hotel Group, Prowess International, and The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, Kolkata. His versatility and depth in finance and accounting have been honed through his work with these leading brands.
He began his professional career as a Summer Trainee and later a Corporate Trainer at Tata Steel, Jamshedpur, where he built a strong foundation in finance and corporate training. Shiv holds an enviable academic record, including a Certificate in Financial Accounting and Analysis from the Indian Institute of Management, Bengaluru, an MBA in Accounting and Finance from SRM University, a Bachelor of Commerce from Ranchi University, and specialized training in Computer and Information Science from DOEACC, New Delhi.
As Director of Finance at The Westin Kolkata Rajarhat, Shiv Yadav will lead the hotel’s financial strategy, strengthen operational controls, and support Marriott International’s broader goals for growth and innovation in Kolkata’s hospitality sector.
