To help fleet owners make the switch to sustainable mobility, Tata Motors announced that it has teamed up with Vertelo, a provider of electric mobility solutions, to offer tailored leasing options for electric commercial vehicles.

According to Tata Motors, the two businesses have inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide all of its electric commercial vehicle portfolio with appealing lease options.

This collaboration with Vertelo represents a critical turning point in the effort to democratize electric mobility by guaranteeing that all clients have access to sustainable transportation options and expanding the company's fleet of cutting-edge electric commercial vehicles. Rajesh Kaul, Vice President & Business Head Trucks of Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, stated.

"Through such collaborations, we are not just accelerating the adoption of sustainable transport solutions but also contributing to the development of a robust EV ecosystem in India," he added.

The collaboration will speed up the deployment of EVs in a variety of electric commercial vehicles, such as buses, trucks, and mini-trucks, according to Vertelo CEO Sandeep Gambhir.

"This partnership will facilitate bespoke leasing solutions and...creation of a sustainable ecosystem that makes electric mobility the natural choice for commercial fleet operators," he noted.
