TATA Starbucks Launches First Metro Store in Mumbai

TATATATA Starbucks has launched its inaugural metro station store in India, based at the Western Express Highway Metro Station in Mumbai. The move is part of the further expansion by the coffeehouse chain designed to meet the needs of both commuting and mobile coffee enthusiasts.

The newly opened store is fully equipped with a host of facilities, really looking toward the needs of customers in terms of convenience. It has a dedicated quick grab-and-go counter, best suited for those in a hurry, alongside comfortable dine-in options. Operating hours range from 8 am to 9 pm daily and are accessible throughout the week.

Sushant Dash, the CEO of TATA Starbucks, was excited about the launch and reaffirmed Starbucks' commitment to bringing an elevated coffee experience. He mentioned that the store is located strategically inside a metro station and it is going to elevate the everyday commute experience of time-pressed travellers. The store will offer Starbucks' quality and service in a fast-paced, quick-service format.

The Metro store menu brings together Favorites of food and beverage in the form of a Picco Cappuccino or a Tall Cold Brew, matched with a Classic Cinnamon Swirl or a Butter Croissant. Prices start at Rs 285 for all kinds of tastes and palates.

Previously, back in May 2023, TATA Starbucks had introduced a line of Indian-inspired beverages that included Filter Coffee, Masala Chai, and Elaichi Chai, accompanied by a line of milkshakes and culturally relevant baked goods. In addition, this store will be carrying Starbucks' loyalty programs, such as Starbucks Rewards and Stars for Everyone, raising further engagement and satisfaction among customers.

With its location strategy and varied menu offerings, this new metro station store envisions a paradigm shift in coffee drinking experiences for urban commuters by bringing in the concept of convenience together with renowned Starbucks quality.
