Tech Mahindra Announces Key Leadership Elevations to Accelerate Global Market Growth
India's fifth-largest IT services firm Tech Mahindra, announces key leadership elevations aimed at accelerating growth across global markets. The company appointed Manish Mangal as Head of the Americas Communications Business and Sahil Dhawan as Head of India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) Business.
Manish Mangal was named the head of Americas Communications Business, while Sahil Dhawan was promoted to lead the India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) Business, marking another leadership change under the new management of CEO Mohit Joshi.
Ram Ramachandran, Senior Vice President - India, Middle East, and Africa (IMEA) business, will transition to a new position as Head of Specialist Sales, while Abid Mirza will take on a new sales role in the IMEA region. As a result, both executives will no longer be identified as Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the firm, based on Tech Mahindra’s BSE announcement.
Mangal, in his broader position, will manage Tech Mahindra's Communications division throughout the Americas, the company’s biggest market. With more than 27 years of international experience in the telecommunications sector, Mangal has been instrumental in the development of 5G, AI, and cloud-native networking technologies. He formerly held the position of Chief Technology Officer – Telecom Business & Global Head – Network Services at Tech Mahindra.
Sahil Dhawan will be accountable for spearheading the company's growth strategy and fostering customer engagement throughout the IMEA region, a market of vital significance to the firm's long-term goals.

Previously, he held the position of Senior Vice President & Global Leader - Enterprise Applications. He managed the worldwide P&L for sales, delivery, solutions, and partnerships within Tech Mahindra's vast Enterprise Applications portfolio.
Tech Mahindra has also brought in new leaders. In addition to onboarding Atul Soneja as the new COO, the company recruited Peeyush Dubey as the chief marketing officer, Richard Lobo as the chief people officer, and Rajashree R as the chief growth officer for strategic verticals in America.
