We are providing learning, knowledge and access to curated investors, mentors, and startups to meet each other, showcase and collectively work with each other. The TiE Global Summit 2020 is a very unique initiative, perhaps the largest and most diverse gathering of entrepreneurs and investors on a virtual platform. The aim is to bring start-ups, entrepreneurs, global leaders including heads of countries, successful business leaders, investors together with a strong intent to invest in startups and enhance opportunities for startups across India to get investments worth billions of dollars. We are hoping a lot of investments, partnerships, and learning will be the outcome of the next three days”.

Sridhar Pinnapureddy, President, TiE Hyderabad, said “A number of 250 startups have been shortlisted from over 5000 applicants, who are given the opportunity to pitch in front of investors and the global community. This summit reinforces TiE’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship globally. The TiE Global Summit will continue to act as a platform to nurture, grow and demonstrates our dedication and commitment to helping generate employment through entrepreneurs and contribute to the world economy.” He further added “Almost 61 chapters are participating in the summit and for the first time each chapter is hosting a separate event. With 20,000 startups and entrepreneurs attending the summit we aim to help, solve their most critical problems such as acquiring new customers in India and overseas, access to funding, mentors and board members. 200 Startups will be funded, around 40,000 one-on-one interactions between entrepreneurs, mentors and others. Right now we have got over 100 big companies on the platform for three days who will be talking to the startups”.

This summit will be unique in its own way, as for the first time an Artificial Intelligence-based networking technique will be used to help everyone meet their prospective customers, investors, board members and mentors. In simple words, the summit will provide an opportunity for entrepreneurs to network and access global customers through an AI-based Match Making platform to help sellers find buyers from among 20,000 attendees.

It will also help forge alliances and partnerships, share ideas and interact with investors, business leaders, policymakers across the globe, besides allowing investors access to the world’s brightest minds to fulfil their investment objectives. There will be around 200 startup pitches. To enter the platform there is a small fee of $50, which means participants have to have a small amount in order to get in touch with mentors. The summit truly focuses on three important aspects that are growing revenues, acquiring customers, and attracting funding.

Apart from that, the summit will also support entrepreneurship awards. The awards will focus on recognizing most promising entrepreneurs to encourage their good work. Women awards have been planned to acknowledge and motivate women entrepreneurs. Last but not least, over 100 highly successful global entrepreneurs will be showcasing their products and services. Keynote sessions, technology lounge, investor lounge, pitch competitions, boot camps are planned.
