Trump to Host Tech Leaders for Dinner

US President Donald Trump will welcome over twenty tech and business executives for a dinner in the recently upgraded White House Rose Garden, according to reports.
The attendees feature Meta creator Mark Zuckerberg, Apple's CEO Tim Cook, Microsoft founder Bill Gates, and OpenAI leader Sam Altman. The meeting emphasizes Trump's intricate yet changing connection with Silicon Valley and the larger tech sector.
After being a frequent source of conflict regarding matters like content moderation and antitrust scrutiny, the tech sector has adjusted following Trump's 2024 election win.
Executives have pursued tighter connections with the Republican administration, syncing corporate strategies with the White House's efforts to reduce diversity and equity initiatives while gaining Trump's support on artificial intelligence and other new technologies.
"The president is eager to host leading figures from the business, political, and tech sectors for this dinner and the numerous upcoming dinners on the lovely new Rose Garden patio," stated White House spokesperson Davis Ingle.

The event was initially reported by The Hill news outlet.
The Rose Garden remodel, finished in August, transformed the famous grass lawn into a stone patio featuring tables with umbrellas, inspired by Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
The meeting is scheduled to occur following the attendance of CEOs and tech executives at an AI event at the White House hosted by First Lady Melania Trump.
Other leaders on the invite list are Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Oracle CEO Safra Catz, Blue Origin CEO David Limp, Micron Technology CEO Sanjay Mehrotra, and OpenAI President Greg Brockman, according to the White House representative.
