Udit Sharma Joins Share chat As Chief Revenue Officer

Disney+ Hotstar’s Udit Sharma has joined ShareChat as chief revenue officer as per his LinkedIn profile. Udit started off as the vice president of sales at Disney+ Hotstar for more than two years. He then elevated to senior vice president of sales in 2020. Sharma was head of ad sales and was leading large clients (LCS), SMB, and agency businesses. He was with the Star-owned streaming platform Disney for over five years.

Udit has worked in industries like media, mobile payments, finTech, and consumer electronics. Prior to Disney+ Hotstar, he had stints at Freecharge, Zomato, Oxigen Services, and Samsung Electronics among others.

Disney+ Hotstar - Thanks for an amazing journey!”, Udit said in a post on LinkedIn. “As for my next adventure, I am super stoked to be joining Ankush Sachdeva and Ajit Varghese at ShareChat/Moj and getting the opportunity to shape the local language content revolution in India”, he added.
