Vinay Gupta to Drive Investment Strategies at InterGlobe Hotels
InterGlobe Hotels has appointed Vinay Gupta as Vice President of Development & Asset Management. With more than 25 years of global hospitality experience, Gupta will lead the company’s investment strategies and work to optimize the value of its hotel portfolio. He will manage capital deployment and drive financial performance by focusing on strategic investments and operational enhancements to maximize long-term value for InterGlobe Hotels.
Gupta is a recognized industry veteran with a proven track record of success in diverse markets, including India, the UK, UAE, and Australia. His extensive experience encompasses large-scale operations management, business development, and asset management for prominent brands such as Ibis, Hilton, and SAMHI Hotels.
In his latest venture, Gupta founded My Tea Chapel, a contemporary quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand. This entrepreneurial experience sharpened his skills in financial management, strategic planning, and operational execution. Before this, he served as Director of Operations for Ibis and Ibis Styles India, where he focused on optimizing performance across multiple properties and driving strategic initiatives to boost guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
Gupta holds a master’s degree in management from the University of Lancashire, UK, and a BA in Hospitality Management from Lancaster University. Additionally, he has earned a diploma in Hotel & Catering Management from Pusa, Delhi.
