Volodymyr Zelensky to Meet European Allies in London

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky is set to meet European allies in London following President Donald Trump's allegation that he failed to review the US plan to resolve the conflict with Russia.
This follows several days of discussions between Ukrainian and US officials in Miami, which concluded on Saturday without any noticeable progress, as Zelensky pledged to continue negotiations.
In London, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will host the Ukrainian president, along with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and French President Emmanuel Macron, to talk about the negotiations.
British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper is anticipated in Washington, where she is set to meet with her US counterpart Marco Rubio.

Zelensky indicated he participated with his negotiators in a "highly substantive and constructive" conversation with US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner during the Miami talks.
"Zelensky stated on Telegram that Ukraine is dedicated to honestly collaborating with the American side to achieve genuine peace, noting that both parties concurred on 'the next steps and the structure of the discussions with America'."
However, Trump expressed criticism towards his Ukrainian counterpart, stating to reporters, "I must admit I'm somewhat disappointed that President Zelensky hasn't reviewed the proposal that was presented just a few hours ago."
Witkoff and Kushner met with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin last week, as Moscow dismissed certain aspects of the US proposal.
French President Emmanuel Macron criticized what he described as Russia's "escalatory path" before the discussions.
