Welspun Secures Export Contract Valued at Rs.1,950 Crore

imageFor the provision of line pipes and bends, domestic company Welspun Corp Ltd (WCL) has obtained an export contract valued at Rs 1,950 crore.

According to the company, its current consolidated global order book is valued at around Rs 19,300 crore, including these additional contracts.

WCL claimed to have announced the "receipt of a prestigious export order for the supply of coated Longitudinal Submerged Arc Welding (LSAW) line pipes and bends from India... cumulatively valued at Rs 1,950 crore."

By providing essential customized solutions for both onshore and offshore applications, WCL has created a global presence spanning six continents and more than 50 countries, placing it among the top three manufacturers of large-diameter pipes worldwide.

Welspun has obtained fresh orders for coated pipes in the US market totaling Rs 2,400 crore.

According to WCL, these additions have increased the company's combined order book to almost Rs 20,000 crore.

For the delivery of coated pipes for natural gas pipeline projects in the USA, WCL has obtained new contracts totaling about Rs 2,400 crore.

 

"These orders further reinforce Welspun Corp's leading position in the USA, where it has been a prominent supplier of critical energy infrastructure. The company's ability to meet stringent quality requirements, deliver on time, and maintain high operational efficiency has helped secure these contracts," the company said.

Welspun World's flagship firm, Homegrown WCL, offers a wide range of pipe solutions and building materials.

Among the top three producers of large-diameter pipes worldwide, WCL has built a presence in more than 50 countries and six continents by providing essential customized solutions for onshore and offshore applications.

Additionally, the company produces stainless steel pipes, tubes, and bars as well as ductile iron (DI) pipes.
