Wipro said on Thursday that Badri Srinivasan will manage its India and Southeast Asia operations.

Wipro stated in a statement that Srinivasan will take over leadership of these two areas to generate deeper synergies, allow best practises sharing, offer consistent and great client experiences, and expand Wipro's capacity to capitalise on new growth prospects.

According to the release, "Wipro Limited announced that Badri Srinivasan will oversee the India and Southeast Asia operations within the company's APMEA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, India, and Africa) Strategic Market Unit."

Srinivasan joined Wipro as Managing Director for Southeast Asia in January 2022, where he spearheaded the consolidation of strategic transformative partnerships with customers while growing the company's talent base and brand presence.

His actions aided in accelerating Wipro's company growth and revenue expansion across major markets in the area.

Badri serves on the boards of Wipro's important subsidiaries and acquired organisations in Asia (Capco, Rizing, and Designit), as well as the Wipro Global Leadership Team.

According to Srinivasan, firms in India and Southeast Asia are searching for realistic alternatives to increase their market leadership and achieve the intended goals of business transformation, technology leveraging, and going beyond cost reductions.

"I am excited about enhancing Wipro's presence in these areas as a purpose-driven value orchestrator for customers, partners, and employees," he said.
