Wipro Partners with Pure Storage to Assist in Sustainability Practices
Wipro Limited has announced a partnership with Pure Storage, a provider of enterprise data storage solutions, to assist clients in accelerating their sustainability journey through the power of technology. The goal is to empower customers to drive a more sustainable data centre footprint by providing more efficient environmental strategies.
Wipro and Pure Storage will use their sustainability and technological expertise to integrate best practises in the sustainable technology industry into their clients' technology infrastructure. This will include implementing improvements in overall data centre footprint, direct carbon emissions in data storage systems, and increased power efficiency based on global industry standards.
Another impact priority for the partnership will be e-waste reduction. Instead of replacing entire systems during hardware upgrades, the emphasis will be on continuously upgrading a variety of components. By extending the lifecycle of technology assets, this approach promotes resource efficiency and contributes to a circular economy.
