Writer Corporation elevates Ajay Bharwani as its new Group CIO

Writer Corporation has appointed Ajay Bharwani, Global Head - IT & Technical Applications, Lupin as its Group CIO & Head - Digital Transformation after a 2 and a half year period.

Writer Corporation is a multi-business enterprise that activates in the territories of global replacements, information management, cash management, and realty. The Mumbai headquartered organization has close to 10,000 employees.

Ajay will be based out of Mumbai and report to the organization’s Chief Corporate Services Officer. In the new role, he will be accountable for leading the group’s technology function. The IT leads of the group’s various divisions will be reporting to him.

Ajay states, “I would be responsible for creating a roadmap for adaptation and implementation of technologies aligned with business strategy and operations; Mapping end-to-end user journeys to understand digital touchpoints and delivering IT solutions in ERP, CRM, Customer Portals, Mobile Apps, AR/VR & Chatbots; Driving change management & adoption programs for new projects.”

Ajay has more than 29 years of professional experience and has worked with companies like Lupin, Ernst & Young, SAP, PwC, and L&T Infotech in the past. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Mumbai.
