Zee Entertainment Appoints Sandeep Mehrotra as COO, Ad Revenue

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited has named Sandeep Mehrotra as the Chief Operating Officer for Advertisement Revenue, starting on February 3, 2026. In his new role, Mehrotra will concentrate on optimizing advertisement revenue through utilizing the intersection of linear and digital platforms.
The appointment is intended to enhance the company's ability to generate revenue and propel its growth path forward. Sandeep's primary duty will entail optimizing the company's advertisement revenue through the strategic alignment of traditional and digital business models. He will be located at the company's Mumbai headquarters and will directly report to the Chief Executive Officer, Punit Goenka.

Punit Goenka, the Chief Executive Officer of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd., emphasized the need for more refined monetization strategies in response to the changing entertainment industry. He conveyed his satisfaction in appointing Sandeep Mehrotra, highlighting his extensive knowledge of the advertising industry as a valuable asset for facilitating long-term growth.

Under the guidance of Sandeep, Laxmi Shetty will maintain her position as the Head of Advertisement Revenue for both Broadcast and Digital platforms, with a strong emphasis on increasing advertisement revenue even further.

Sandeep had a prior affiliation with Culver Max Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. (formerly known as Sony Pictures Networks India) where he held the position of Head of Advertisement Sales for the Network Channels.
