Throughout my professional odyssey spanning more than 36 years, I have amassed a wealth of experience through diverse roles across various organizations. My journey commenced as a shop floor engineer and I rapidly climbed the ranks to become a Chief Executive Officer, illustrating my tenacity and leadership mettle. My exposure to diverse cultures, geographies, and individuals has been a cornerstone of my current position as a leader at Shriram Pistons and Rings.
Throughout my career, I have embraced a learning mindset and had constant exposure to new challenges, propelling me toward an all encompassing view of the industry and business.My journey has been characterized by a continuous pursuit of knowledge, growth and development.
How has Shriram Pistons and Rings maintained a competitive edge in using the latest technologies while maintaining high standards in the domestic and international markets?
Shriram Pistons & Rings(SPRL) is a division of the highly-regarded Shriram Group, a trusted and esteemed industrial house in India known for its values and ethics. With over 50 years of experience, SPRL is renowned globally for its superior quality products and cutting-edge technologies in Pistons, Piston Pins, Piston Rings and Engine Valves. We are the largest exporter in our category from India, supplying the products to leading OEMs and After markets in Europe, the USA, and other regions.
Furthermore our success can be attributed to the strategic alliances that have enabled us to create a robust manufacturing footprint. At SPRL, we prioritize providing our clients with the highest quality products, and we strive to achieve maximum client satisfaction through process enhancements, automation, and digitization. In the company's alliance with EMFI, what are the electric vehicle market goals, and what advances are being developed?
At Shriram Pistons & Rings (SPRL), we are committed to diversifying our product line to mitigate risks and capitalize on emerging opportunities. To achieve this, we have invested in EMFI, a leading supplier to EV manufacturers with expertise in Hub motors, Mid Drive Motors, and other specific applications. Our subsidiary, SPR Engenious (SEL), will spearhead our foray into the EV space and other exigencies, enabling us to expand our reach beyond IC engines. While we have already broadened our product line to include industrial compressor applications, and railway components, we remain focused on identifying newer areas for growth and de-risking. Our

Takahata Precision India (a subsidiary of Takahata Precision, Japan), is a leading player in the highly specialized field of manufacturing precision molded/assembled parts and precision metal molds. Their products cater to the discerning needs of the automotive industry, which demands the highest levels of technology and quality. Also, we have established a strong foothold in this market segment by leveraging our expertise and synergizing with the marketing and sales strengths of TIPL. Moreover, the relentless focus on technology has allowed us to continuously adapt and evolve our products to meet the ever-changing needs of the market, thereby expanding our customer base in India and overseas. In addition, our commitment to advanced technology and quality drives our market position, and we always strive to exceed customer expectations through innovative solutions.
What personal values and traits have been crucial to your success and how do they drive your actions and decision making?
My philosophy for achieving success is rooted in six fundamental principles.
