Tell us about your professional journey and your motivation behind managing your daily tasks
My career journey in technology began at an early age, and I quickly fell in love with programming. During my undergraduate years, I ventured into entrepreneurship and successfully exited my first startup, learning about innovation, adaptability, and building strong teams. I then led technology teams at companies like AskMeBazaar, Tolexo, and CAN Brand, helping them grow from the ground up to multi-million-dollar valuations. I discovered my passion for leading multi-functional teams and creating successful ventures. Now, as the technical co-founder at Goals101, I'm driven by our mission to revolutionize banking communication and make a significant impact in the fintech industry.
My motivation lies in creating innovative solutions, building great teams, and making a positive impact in the tech and fintech sectors, and I'm excited to see where the future leads.
Tell us about the academic experience at IIT Delhi. What did you learn from the campus beyond academics?
My time at IIT Delhi was academically transformative and
taught me valuable life lessons. The challenging curriculum emphasized the importance of perseverance, which has been crucial in my entrepreneurial journey. I also learned to make the most of my time, consistently ranking in the Top 3 of my MBA class.
The diverse campus community expanded my horizons, teaching me the value of collaboration and cultural sensitivity. These interactions improved my inter personal skills and provided a global perspective essential for my career.
I developed a spirit of innovation and curiosity that extended beyond the classroom, leading to the creation and success of two startups during my MBA at IIT Delhi.
My IIT Delhi experience gave me a strong technical foundation and instilled qualities like resilience, adaptability, global awareness, leadership, and a passion for continuous learning. These lessons have been instrumental in my career as an entrepreneur and tech industry leader.
What do you take into consideration while developing strategies for long-term digital transformation?
As the Co-Founder & CTO, when developing long-term digital transformation strategies, I focus on critical factors:
Staying updated on evolving market trends, emerging technologies, competitors, and customer preferences is vital to align our strategies with the market's direction. We embrace technological innovation, like AI, blockchain, and IoT, to enhance products and services, fostering continuous innovation. Investing in the skills and expertise of our team through ongoing training is essential for staying at the forefront of technology.
To ensure our strategies cater to evolving customer needs, we actively gather customer feedback, conduct surveys, and analyze user data. Data-driven decision making, with a strong focus on analytics, helps us optimize operations and improve the customer experience. Scalability and adaptability are critical as we expand, allowing our systems and processes to scale seamlessly and adapt to changing circumstances in the tech environment.
