Make in India 2.0
India is currently experiencing resurgence in manufacturing, aiming to bolster its economy and become more self-sufficient. The initial stage of the Make in India initiative set the foundation for establishing India as a leading global manufacturing center. This momentum has been further accelerated by the launch of Make in India 2.0 in February 2021, which includes expanded objectives, broader sectorial inclusion, and robust backing from both governmental and private entities.
The 2014 inception of the Make in India campaign was intended to stimulate domestic manufacturing, generate employment opportunities, and enhance export growth.
