IIM Indores Futuristic Journey is Swift

It’s been a busy couple of months for the Indian Institute of Management Indore(IIM Indore). The Board of Governors(BoG) recently announced the reappointment of Prof. Himanshu Rai as the institute's Director, extending his tenure for another five years. Prof. Himanshu has been exceptional in his role over the years. IIM Indore achieved international accreditations, including the re-accreditation of AMBA, the AACSB accreditation in 2019, and the re-accreditation from EQUIS in 2023.

Under the aegis of Prof. Himanshu, IIM Indore also Introduced ANVESHAN, the Centre of Excellence, which focuses on training political leaders for urban sanitation

and waste management alongside impactful programs in public policy and change management. The feathers in his cap included around 187 Executive Education Programs that empowered and contributed to 110 research projects in 2022-23.

Furthermore, in a significant stride towards advancing skill development and entrepreneurship in India, IIM Indore recently struck a strategic partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to foster excellence and innovation in crucial domains. The new alliance aims to redefine skill development, entrepreneurship, and research in India by leveraging their collective strengths to reshape the nation’s skilling ecosystem. The initiative is poised to offer professional support to under served regions, communities, individuals, and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). In addition, IIM Indore has also joined hands with Accenture to advance research and promote innovation. The partnership aims to address real-world business challenges and contribute to an ecosystem of innovation.
