Harpalsinh Gohil, Founder & Director, Titus Health Tech, 0

According to the convention on the rights of the child, every infant and child has the right to good nutrition. But unfortunately, nearly half of the under five child mortality in India is attributable to undernutrition. Poor nutrition in the first few years of a child's life can lead to diminutive growth of cognitive ability and reduced mental performance. Addressing the situation of malnutrition, especially in new born & women and understanding the essentiality of the growth and development of their overall health, Harpalsinh Gohil founded Titus Health Tech. Harpalsinh Gohil, Founder & Director, Titus Health Tech has over 12 years of experience in the healthcare industry focusing on Infant Nutrition, Clinical Nutrition, and vaccines domain.

He has worked with leading multinational organizations in various positions and secured numerous recognitions for his exceptional contributions. His entrepreneurial stint has been the result of his desire to contribute to building a healthy nation. His idea of manufacturing quality infant milk food, baby cereals and other nutritional supplements has received multiple appreciations and made Titus Health Tech the largest third-party manufacturer of infant formula in India. Below is an excerpt of CEO Insights' exclusive interview with him.

How would you define Titus Health Tech as an organization and its position in the market?
Through Titus Health Tech we want to serve infants by providing them with a healthier solution and nutrition supplement. When it comes to our product, we understand the criticality and the importance of quality in this particular segment. Our product is the healthiest milk substitute for newborn babies. We keep our product quality at the top of our priorities. And on a successful note, I am happy to share that we are among a very few Indian companies that are dealing in infant formula. Despite having big MNCs as our competitors in the Indian market, we are listed under successful infant formula brands that are completely produced & manufactured in India.

What are the modern manufacturing instruments of the company that helps in smooth operation?
Our plant is designed with good manufacturing practices and has separate units like a raw material storage room, packaging material storage room, dispensing unit, processing unit, packaging area, and finished product
storage room. We have installed all required modern instruments that help us in smooth operation and minimum human contact to ensure the finest quality finished products.

How has the journey with Titus Health Tech been so far? Give a brief account of the company's long term and short term plans.
When we began our operations in 2017, there were not many clients or customers who supported our idea as we were a newcomer in the field of manufacturing indigenous infant formula. But eventually, we were able to establish our base and win confidence of medical and healthcare fraternity. And within few years we have been able to expand ourselves across India and also started exporting to nearly Asia pacific and African countries. We are the largest third party manufacturer of infant formula in India that provide opportunities to small scale pharmaceutical organizations to take their brands to local and global markets. Apart from Infant nutrition, we have multiple products in health supplements, and nutrition for special groups like pregnant women, teenagers, geriatric population, sports and athletic persons. Apart from that, we are also looking forward to adding a new product called Baby Cereal to our portfolio.

I have always followed the path of the right choices and have put in persistent efforts to reach the desired goal, despite challenges

What would be your advice to the entrepreneur starting anew in this domain?
My advice for young entrepreneurs would be to follow the path of persistence; if you believe your idea has all the right intentions then make sure to put all your efforts to grow that idea into a business. There will be times when people will doubt your idea prove them wrong with persistent effort hard work and determination.
