Silver Lining the Startup Ecosystem

With thousands of startups emerging every year on the Indian soil, the ecosystem is just preparing itself to help them nurture and survive. Most of the innovative ideas today come from these startups, who are not just changing the game for better but also turning the table in their favour where big MNCs now look to either work with them or acquire them. However, the grass is not always greener! With the predicted global economic slowdown, the startups are the first to be hit hard on their face. Survival will be critical, with only those companies alive that isn’t cluttering among the rest.

Hence it is pertinent more than ever to grow the business in a direction that looks much ahead of the time and

addresses the challenges/needs of the future. While digital is surely the growth factor that no one can ignore, the challenge lies in securing them from hackers and bugs. We would surely wish to see startups that work with AI and ML to provide cyber security and fight with cybercrimes. On the other hand, with more integration of online healthcare, there still lies a plethora of issues that needs solution. The startups can surely bet on these spaces and come up with more innovative solutions to fix the burgeoning fuss.

With the government pushing the Make in India and Made in India in the defence sector as well, a lot of startups will get the opportunity to work on various projects along with MNCs to develop indigenous machineries. This will strengthen the Indian defence and will open the market for the world. Interesting days ahead, indeed! But challenge timings too.
