Over the past 22 years, he has developed extensive expertise across HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, firefighting, ELV services, and integrated project coordination, enabling him to deliver holistic engineering solutions for complex developments.
Driven by a vision to build an organization founded on technical excellence and in-house expertise, he established Prashanti MEP Consultant seven years ago with a team of just two to three professionals. Today, the firm has grown into a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy comprising nearly 25 experienced engineers, fire protection specialists, senior draftsmen, and project coordinators operating from its Mumbai office.
Under his leadership, the company has successfully executed MEP consultancy assignments for residential townships, high-rise developments, commercial complexes, hotels, warehouses, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects across India, while also expanding its footprint into international markets such as West Africa. Landmark assignments, including a 61-storey residential tower in Mangalore, major developments with Adani, and affordable housing projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, alongside collaborations with renowned architects such as Hafeez Contractor, Reza Kabul, Ingrain and Skyline Architects, reflect the firm's growing reputation for delivering technically robust, value-engineered, and client-centric engineering solutions.
What leadership philosophy and core values have consistently guided your decision making and contributed to the sustained growth of your organization?
My leadership philosophy is built on technical ownership, quality, and continuous collaboration. I personally review and approve the core concept of every project because I believe the concept is the foundation of successful engineering. Once the concept is right, execution becomes much more efficient.
I also maintain constant interaction with my team, helping them resolve technical challenges whenever required. Daily project reviews with our senior engineers and coordinators keep me closely connected to every assignment, enabling us to make timely decisions, address issues proactively, and consistently deliver quality work while meeting client expectations.
From your perspective, what are the key trends driving this transformation and how is your organization positioning itself to address the future needs of the built environment?
I believe value engineering has become the biggest driver of transformation in the MEP industry. Today, clients expect designs that are technically efficient, costeffective, and sustainable.
At Prashanti MEP Consultant, we focus on detailed engineering calculations rather than standard assumptions, whether it is cable sizing through voltage drop analysis or plumbing design based on fixture units.
We continuously adopt modern technologies such as busbar riser systems and single stack plumbing wherever appropriate. Every engineering decision is evaluated from both technical and commercial perspectives to ensure optimum performance, long-term sustainability, and maximum value for our clients.

We provide complete in-house MEP consultancy across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV systems, CCTV, and Integrated Building Management Systems. Since all disciplines are managed by our own experienced team, coordination is seamless and quality remains consistent throughout the project.
Our designs are based on detailed engineering calculations rather than thumb rules, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost optimization. We also emphasize flood mitigation through proper infrastructure planning and design all firefighting systems in compliance with National Building Code and Chief Fire Officer guidelines. Our objective is always to deliver practical, sustainable, and high-performance engineering solutions.
