Allcargo Group Elevates Vaishnav Shetty as Deputy MD
The Allcargo Group promoted Vaishnav Shetty, Allcargo Global Ltd's Executive Director for North Asia, to Deputy Managing Director and appointed him as a member of the AGL Board of Directors.
Vaishnav, the child of group founder and Chairman Shashi Kiran Shetty, will collaborate closely with Allcargo Global Ltd (AGL) Managing Director Adarsh Hegde, according to reports.
AGL, the global logistics division of the Allcargo Group, represents nearly 80 percent of the group's income. His promotion illustrates the group's organized strategy for succession planning and for developing a digital-centric, future-prepared organization during the current restructuring initiative, where its operations are being restructured into four distinct and targeted entities, the company stated.
As a result of this process, the group's global supply chain operations have been separated into Allcargo Global Ltd, which is intended to be publicly listed, allowing for enhanced strategic focus and increased operational flexibility, it stated.
"Vaishnav's appointment demonstrates our dedication to establishing a robust leadership structure that can propel sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and digital innovation in a progressively competitive global logistics landscape," stated Shashi Kiran Shetty.

Shetty noted that his influence on digital transformation and business leadership illustrates the next generation’s readiness to enhance the organisation, stating, "his advancement highlights our commitment to nurturing leadership internally, guaranteeing continuity, resilience, and sustainable value for all stakeholders."
Vaishnav started with Allcargo Group in 2017 and managed various roles within the Group during this time.

As Chief Digital Officer of Allcargo Logistics Ltd, he drove the group's digital and innovation initiative and introduced multiple industry-first digital solutions, improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
In his previous role as Executive Director for North Asia at AGL, he led various strategic initiatives to strengthen and consolidate the company's position in this region, according to reports.

Besides, he also played a key role in the development of the digital freight platform ECU360, reinforcing Allcargo's leadership position in international consolidation and supply chain solutions, it added.
