Anamika Mehta, the Chief Growth Officer at IPG Mediabrands India, has left the company amid restructuring after the Omnicom Group’s acquisition of Interpublic Group (IPG), as per reports.

Her exit signifies the first senior leadership departure in India from the IPG network following the significant global merger.

Mehta is reported to have transitioned earlier this month, although specifics about her upcoming job have not been verified.

A well-regarded and veteran leader at IPG Mediabrands, her departure indicates the start of leadership changes in the Indian market as Omnicom merges IPG’s functions.

Acknowledged as a crucial element of IPG Mediabrands' leadership in India, Mehta was one of the highest-ranking executives in the organization and, at one time, viewed as second only to Shashi Sinha in the organizational structure.
