Castrol India Appoints Kedar Lele as New Managing Director
Castrol India Ltd, a leading lubricants manufacturer, has appointed Kedar Lele as its new Managing Director, effective November 1, 2024. Lele succeeds Sandeep Sangwan, who has been promoted to the position of Global Chief Marketing Officer at Castrol's headquarters in London.
Lele joins Castrol India after an extensive two-decade career at Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), where he served as the Executive Director for Sales and Customer Development, South Asia. His experience at HUL has equipped him with a strong background in leading high-performing teams and driving growth across complex markets.
“Kedar’s vast experience in driving growth and leading large teams in challenging markets makes him an outstanding choice to lead Castrol India as we embark on our next phase of growth”, said Rakesh Makhija, Chairman of Castrol India Ltd, in a company statement.
