Chubb Names Chris Colahan as Head of Commercial Property & Casualty

Chubb has announced Chris Colahan as the Head of Commercial Property & Casualty for Asia Pacific, starting on 9 February 2026.

In this position, Colahan will be accountable for the entire operating management of Chubb's Commercial Property & Casualty portfolio across the Asia Pacific area.

Colahan will report to Marcos Gunn, Regional President of Chubb Overseas General for Asia Pacific, and Brian Church, Division President for Property & Casualty at Chubb Overseas General.

He will additionally become a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee of the company.

Upon announcing Colahan's appointment, Gunn stated, "We are thrilled that Chris is coming aboard the Chubb team. He is a recognized leader in the industry, possessing a comprehensive and profound knowledge of the region, which will be essential as we further develop our operations in Asia Pacific. Chris is well-known for his dedication to excellence, and we believe that with his guidance, our Property & Casualty business will keep achieving exceptional results for our clients and partners.”

Colahan comes to Chubb from AIG, where he served as the Regional President for Asia Pacific. Before this, he occupied senior positions with Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance in both London and Australia, as well as at RSA Insurance throughout the region.

Chubb is a global leader in the insurance industry. Chubb operates in 54 countries and territories, offering commercial and personal property and casualty insurance, personal accident and supplemental health insurance, reinsurance, and life insurance to a varied clientele.

The organization is characterized by its wide range of products and services, extensive distribution network, outstanding financial stability, and local operations around the world.
