Coding Ninjas Raises Funds to the Tune of Rs. 37.10 Crore from Info Edge India

Coding Ninjas, one of India’s largest online tech education companies focused on teaching coding & other programming related courses to beginners, raises funds amounting to Rs. 37.10 crore in a Series A funding from Info Edge India. The freshly raised funds will significantly help the firm scale its online tech education business, strengthen its tech & content, and help it expand into new business territories. This investment will further be utilized for scaling its new offering Career Camp - an income sharing based payment model.

Ideated in 2019, Career Camp is a pay later model by Coding Ninjas wherein students undergo a rigorous six-month-long online training and pay a part of their salary to Coding Ninjas once they receive the job offer. Being one-of-its-kind business model, Career Camp has the potential to disrupt the existing education market and bring-in large scale impact in improving India’s education system.

Coding Ninjas leverages its unique Teaching Assistant (TA) model which provides almost real-time doubt support for the enrolled students. This decentralized model with remote TA’s - ex-students of Coding Ninjas, helps in efficient doubt resolution throughout the course duration. Moreover, it solves for doubt support at scale and has resulted in high completion rates of up to 75 percent, one of the highest in the world.
