Cohesity Onboards Former Google VP Carol Carpenter as CMO

Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security names Carol Carpenter as Chief Marketing Officer. With over two decades of technology industry and marketing leadership experience Carol is responsible for leading all aspects of the global marketing of the company as Cohesity builds on its #1 position in the data protection market after partnering with Veritas’ enterprise data protection business.

Carol served as Chief Marketing Officer at VMware and Unity.  She also worked as Global Vice President of Marketing at Google,

where she helped grow Google Cloud from its infancy to its current position as the industry leader. She has also held marketing and leadership positions at ElasticBox (which was acquired by CenturyLink), Trend Micro, Keynote Systems, Apple, and other companies.

At Cohesity, Carol will concentrate on increasing brand recognition, improving go-to-market tactics, and developing demand-generating initiatives.
