Commvault Names Alex Janas as the New Field Chief Technology Officer for Security
Commvault ®, an enterprise data protection leader for today’s global businesses, announced the appointment of expert security leader Alex Janas who has joined the company as its new Field Chief Technology Officer overseeing security.

With Janas ’ appointment, Commvault is doubling down on its commitment to review data protection and deliver cyber adaptability with assistance- leading trouble discovery and rapid-fire recovery capabilities.

Janas comes to Commvault with nearly two decades of private sector cybersecurity experience, including offensive security skills which he developed as an Critic, Operator, and Technical Director while working at the National Security Agency.
"To effectively challenge this asymmetry, we need to create strategies that increase the operational risks and costs for attackers and minimize the fallout for victims, while also scaling and keeping pace with an attacker’s adaptations”, Janas continued.

He is also known for his philanthropic work of the Master Operator designation, which is a highly esteemed honor accredited to chosen cadre of Computer Network Operations( CNO) personnel.
