Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Names Mihir Rale as Partner
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), a full-service law firm, has announced the joining of Mihir Rale as Partner (Co-Head – Digital | TMT) in its rapidly growing Digital+ Practice. Mihir will be based at the firm’s Mumbai office. With over 23 years of extensive experience across mergers & acquisitions, legal strategy, corporate governance, regulation, policy, and compliance in technology, telecom, data, and traditional sectors, Mihir brings significant depth to the firm’s digital law capabilities.
Mihir most recently held the position of General Counsel at Star and Disney India, where he dedicated 15 years to navigating intricate legal and regulatory environments at the intersection of technology, competition, intellectual property, and media. A graduate of ILS Law College in Pune (2002), Mihir has assumed various key roles in the industry, including Co-chair of the FICCI IPR Committee, Co-chair of the CII Digital Media Committee, and active membership in FICCI M&E and CII National Regulatory committees, playing a crucial role in shaping policy discussions within India’s digital and media landscape.
