DroneShield Appoints Rebecca Lowde as Chief Financial Officer
Rebecca Lowde is set to become the CFO of DroneShield on 2 November 2026. Rebecca is a finance executive in the technology sector of a public company, bringing thirty years of experience in CFO, CEO, and enterprise leadership positions.
She possesses knowledge in transformation, capital management, mergers and acquisitions, governance, risk, and expanding global technology-driven enterprises.
Recently, Rebecca held the CFO position at MYOB, the accounting and business management software company owned by KKR, where she managed a debt refinancing and EBITDA increase via product monetisation and expansion, embedded financial services, and rigorous cost control.
Before, Rebecca held the positions of CFO and Chief People Officer at Afterpay, where she facilitated a $1.5B capital raise and the company’s $39B acquisition by Block. She has additionally held the positions of CFO and CEO at ASX-listed Salmat, as well as Executive Director and CFO at Bravura Solutions.

Rebecca is a CPA, a graduate from the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a member of Chief Executive Women.
Following over eight years at DroneShield, current CFO and Joint Company Secretary Carla Balanco has made the decision to depart from the Company. The Board expresses gratitude to Carla for her dedication and contributions throughout the years. After Rebecca arrives, Carla will offer assistance as required with the transition plans.

Following the announcement of the 1H 2026 Results, the FY2026 Committed Revenue1 has increased to $251M and is now within the revenue outlook range for FY2026 of $250M to $270M. This milestone signifies the ongoing transformation of worldwide demand into secured revenue. Committed Revenue for FY2027 and later stands at $46M.

DroneShield has successfully received its initial order for the newly launched, AI-powered device, RfRecon, which will be utilized by an existing military end-user in Western Europe by the conclusion of 2026. Although it's not a formal contract, it serves as a significant affirmation of the Company’s advanced counter-drone technologies.
