Duroflex Names Shridhar Balakrishnan as Group CEO
Duroflex has appointed Sridhar Balakrishnan as the Group CEO, aligning with the company's vision to transition from a family-operated entity to a more corporate structure. Balakrishnan's role will be pivotal in integrating management and growth strategies for Duroflex Group's in-house brands - Duroflex and Sleepyhead. With a career encompassing change management, leadership of diverse teams, and navigating business scalability complexities, Balakrishnan has a rich professional background. He commenced his career at Marico, where he spent 17 years and ascended to the role of Chief Operating Officer for clusters across South Asia, the Middle East & Africa. During his tenure, he oversaw international business unit P&L, managing Sales, Business Finance, and Supply Chain for the Indian business. Later, Balakrishnan held the positions of President & Head of Distribution at Star India and subsequently served as MD & CEO at ACC Cement.
