Eduvanz names Simrata Gujral as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer

Eduvanz, a digital Fintech NBFC today announced the appointment of Simrata Gujral as the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer, effective March 2, 2022. At Eduvanz, Simrata will be working closely with the leadership team to scale up and reinforce the company’s legal and compliance capabilities. Simrata joins Eduvanz from Kohlberg Kravis Rogers & Co. wherein she was enacted as the primary contact for Legal and compliance for the India investment team and the global legal team. Simrata has close to 18 years of experience in the Banking & Financial Services sector having worked with Citibank, Deutsch Bank, ANZ and J P Morgan, where she managed a team of lawyers, responsible for servicing the Trade, Treasury, Corporate, Investment Banking and Investor Services functions. As an in-house counsel Simrata has worked across business segments, product suites and entity wide issues on human relations, technology, and others.

Born in Delhi, Simrata graduated in Economics from Sri. Venkateswara College and pursued LLB from Campus

Law Centre, Delhi University.
