FTC Solar Appoints Wes Fuller as Vice President of Utility Sales

imageFTC Solar, Inc., a prominent supplier of solar tracking systems, software, and engineering services, has declared the hiring of Wes Fuller as Vice President of Utility Sales for North America.

In this position, Fuller will directly report to Kent James, Chief Commercial Officer for North America. Kent James voiced assurance in the new appointment, highlighting that Fuller has a solid background in commercial leadership within the renewable energy industry, with expertise in trackers and energy storage.

He mentioned that Fuller’s expertise in the industry, leadership abilities, and existing connections will aid the company in its attempts to broaden its reach and provide cutting-edge tracker solutions to clients throughout the area.

Fuller expressed his excitement about becoming part of FTC Solar, emphasizing the swift increase in energy demand and the crucial role of innovative technologies in fulfilling industry requirements. He mentioned that FTC Solar’s emphasis on constructability and its robust product portfolio were crucial elements that attracted him to the position.

Fuller expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with the team to assist customers in enhancing site design, optimizing workforce utilization, and meeting increasing market demands.

With over 15 years of engineering and commercial experience, Fuller offers substantial knowledge to FTC Solar. Prior to joining the company, he worked as Global Head of Sales at Energy Vault, a creator of large-scale energy storage solutions.

He formerly served as the Head of Sales at Powin, overseeing sales operations in North America and directing strategic initiatives. Fuller worked for four years at Sunfolding, a solar tracker provider, where he held the position of Head of Sales and Strategic Partnerships.

In the early stages of his career, he worked at Schneider Electric, Ampt LLC, and Siemens. Fuller has earned bachelor’s degrees in Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from Colorado State University.
