Godrej to Build Homes in Bengaluru Plot, Eyes Rs.1,500 Crore Revenue

The Godrej Industries Group's real estate division, Godrej Properties, plans to build a high-end residential development on a 14-acre plot of land in Hoskote, East Bengaluru, with an estimated Rs.1,500 crore in potential revenue.
The business estimated that the planned development will provide about 1.5 million square feet of saleable space.
“Hoskote is an important micro market for us in East Bengaluru. It continues to demonstrate strong demand for high-quality housing and aligns with our vision of developing best-in-class residential communities. We aim to build a high-quality development that creates long-term value for its residents,” says Gaurav Pandey, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Godrej Properties.
As of the first quarter of 2025 (Q1 CY25), the average price of a home in Hoskote was Rs.5,004 per square foot, according to real estate data analytics firm Square Yards Data Intelligence.
“The area is also witnessing transformative infrastructure upgrades, improved arterial road networks, and the development of adjacent industrial and logistics zones. These improvements are expected to further elevate the appeal of Hoskote as a vibrant and well-connected urban hub, making it a compelling location for future-ready residential communities,” the company added.
The property, which is around 5 kilometers off NH-75, has good access to important nodes including Budigere Cross, KR Puram, and the Whitefield micromarket.
According to current business assumptions, Godrej Properties recently purchased a 14-acre plot of land in Kharadi, Pune, where it intends to build a high-end residential development with a potential income of Rs.4,200 crore.
In the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2025 (Q4 FY25), the corporation had its highest-ever quarterly bookings of Rs.10,163 crore, up seven percent year over year. The company's quarterly bookings surpassed Rs.10,000 crore for the first time.

Furthermore, the Godrej Enterprises Group's Motor Solutions division aims to generate Rs 1,000 crore in income by the fiscal year 2028 (FY28), with 20 percent of that amount derived from exports. Due to growing demand in both domestic and foreign markets for electric vehicles (EVs), HVAC applications, pump applications, and actuator segments, the company is aiming for Rs 750 crore in FY26.
To support expansion in India as well as international markets including the US and Europe, the company has improved its capacity to manufacture EV motor components, including completing a new assembly line.
