Ideanomics Inc. (Nasdaq: IDEX) a global fintech provider for transformative industries, appoints Harry Edelson to its Board of Directors. He succeeds Zhao Kang, who had quit the board to take up a role in Ideanomics Mobile Energy Group (MEG). Harry will hold this position until the company’s next annual shareholders’ meeting.

Harry, the founder of Edelson Technology Partners, is also a renowned and successful venture capitalist in the US. He has a high reputation in the financial and technology industries.
Harry also holds the honor of being the first Wall Street analyst to combine the coverage of computers, software and telecommunications. He initiated the first venture capital investor in ten early stage companies; post which the companies’ capitalization grew tremendously to more than $1 billion. Being the first venture capital investor, he assisted China to venture into the internet industry named China Internet Corporation in 90s.

Harry has held various prominent positions such as council member of the Juilliard School of Music Dance & Drama, Founder & Chairman of the China Investment Group, Founder & current member of the Chinese Cultural Foundation, Past President of the Analyst Club and Member of Advisory Council of The World Policy Institute.

He holds B.S Physics from Brooklyn College, and MBA from New York University. He has also completed Advanced Telecommunication Program at the Cornell Graduate School of Electrical Engineering.
