imgHearzap, India's leading organised hearing healthcare provider has announced the successful completion of its acquisition of Amplifon India's hearing healthcare business, following the definitive agreement announced in May 2026, marking one of the most significant developments in India's organised hearing healthcare sector.

Supported by its investor 360 ONE Asset Management, one of India's leading private equity investors, the transaction brings Amplifon India's established network of approximately 240 hearing care points of sale, including 115 directly operated locations, experienced clinical teams and loyal client base into Hearzap's rapidly expanding national platform, significantly strengthening its position in the country's growing hearing healthcare market.

With this acquisition, Hearzap expands its footprint to 420 centres across India, supported by more than 1,000 service providers, taking a significant step towards its ambition of establishing a 500-centre network by 2027. The integration is expected to improve access to quality hearing care across metropolitan cities as well as emerging Tier II and Tier III markets, while strengthening the company's ability to deliver globally benchmarked clinical services.

Commenting on the acquisition, Raja S., Managing Director, Hearzap, said, "The acquisition of Amplifon India represents a defining milestone in Hearzap's journey. It is not merely an expansion of our network but an opportunity to integrate globally proven clinical expertise, operational excellence and client-centric care into our organisation. Together, we are building a stronger platform capable of delivering world-class hearing healthcare to millions of Indians. Our focus remains on expanding access, strengthening clinical quality and ensuring that every client receives personalised care supported by the latest technologies and international best practices."

The acquisition comes at a time when India’s hearing healthcare sector is undergoing a period of rapid transformation, driven by rising life expectancy, increasing awareness, greater exposure to occupational and environmental noise, and growing acceptance of hearing care solutions. However, access to specialised hearing services remains limited across large parts of the country. Hearzap believes this acquisition will play a key role in bridging this gap by creating a stronger, more accessible and clinically advanced hearing healthcare ecosystem.

The acquisition is strategically significant beyond its scale. Over the next twelve months, Hearzap will undertake a phased integration of Amplifon India's operations, ensuring a seamless transition for clients and employees while maintaining uninterrupted clinical services. Existing Amplifon India professionals will continue to play an integral role in the organisation, ensuring continuity of care while contributing their expertise to Hearzap's future growth.

The combined business is expected to cross ₹230 crore in topline revenue post-integration, with Hearzap targeting revenues of approximately ₹250 crore by the end of the current financial year and scaling towards nearly ₹500 crore by FY2029. To support this growth trajectory and further strengthen its position in India’s hearing healthcare sector, Hearzap plans to make significant investments across key areas including the launch of new hearing care centres, expansion into underserved markets, adoption of AI-enabled diagnostics and tele-audiology solutions, enhancement of rehabilitation services, and continued investment in training and clinical excellence. The company also intends to deepen collaborations with healthcare institutions, insurance providers and community health programmes to improve awareness, enable early diagnosis and promote long-term hearing wellness across the country.
