“It was the last week of December 2021 when we began building the first branch of Binge Town in the busy Koramangala area of Bangalore. Just a month later, in January 2022, we opened our doors with a single theater that aimed to transform how people commemorate important occasions. Since then, we’ve never looked back,” shares co-founder Chetan Agrawal.
Over time, the company expanded its services, becoming a one-stop solution for planning celebrations and surprises. In addition to its theaters, The Binge Town now offers a variety of services, including cakes, photo opportunities, food and beverages, and gifts.
The Binge Town is primarily designed as a private party venue, ideal for small gatherings of four to five guests, though it can accommodate up to fifteen depending on the space. Each celebration area features a large screen and a surround sound system, setting it apart from other private theater venues.
“We provide a broad range of services, from gifts and cake pops to decorations, photo ops, food and drinks, and even a fog entrance. Customers can choose the branch and theater based on their size and aesthetic preferences and can reserve a spot with a Rs 750 advance payment. They can also select additional services as needed, paying the remaining balance at the theater on the day of their celebration,” Chetan explains.
Among the most popular add-on services are gifts, fog entries, and photography sessions.
When it comes to customization, The Binge Town is always eager to accommodate special requests. The in-house team ensures that each celebration is truly memorable, whether it’s a unique cake setup, such as a Barbie cake or a multi-layer cake, or organizing a grand surprise with a fog entry from the entrance to the cake-cutting area. This flexibility and attention to detail have made it a favorite among patrons seeking unique experiences.
As of July 2024, The Binge Town has 13 locations across three cities, offering a total of 46 celebration venues. In Bangalore alone, there are five branches and fourteen celebration spaces. Delhi, the biggest market for The Binge Town, boasts four locations and 20 areas for celebrations, while Hyderabad features four branches and 12 celebration spaces.
