HP Appoints Ketan Patel as the MD of Greater India

HP Inc. (NYSE:HPQ), a leader in creating technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere, appoints Ketan Patel as the Managing Director of HP Greater India. He is supposed to oversee the company’s business in India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Ketan’s predecessor – Vinay Awasthi has been designated as the Head of Print Operations for Supply Chain. From August 1, Ketan will take in charge and report to Christoph Schell, HP Chief Commercial Officer.

Ketan is an accomplished management professional with 25 years of profound experience and track record in driving growth and accelerating transformation by managing large scale businesses, and consistently meeting and exceeding sales revenue with enhanced profitability.

Ketan is an accomplished management professional with 25 years of profound experience and track record in driving growth and accelerating transformation by managing large scale businesses, and consistently meeting and exceeding sales revenue with enhanced profitability. He is also an inspirational and collaborative leader who has built high performance teams in not only direct line of reporting but also extended teams. He was previously the Head of Head of Personal Systems Category for Greater Asia, where he oversaw hardware, services and solutions across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and Korea.

In 2005, Ketan plunged into the board of HP and has held various leadership positions across HP’s Personal Systems, Print, and Graphics Solutions Businesses. From 2013 to 2017, he was Senior Director of Personal Systems at HP India. Prior to joining HP, Ketan held positions at Wipro Infotech, Wipro Peripherals and TVS Electronics in India where he handled their printing business. He has also demonstrated strong skills in diversity, inclusion and social impact through diverse sustainability initiatives.
