India Mentorship Unveils $500,000 Crypto Fundraiser for Education

Separator

India Mentorship, a non-profit focused on empowering underprivileged students, has launched an ambitious crypto-based fundraising campaign to raise $500,000. This initiative aims to address the growing education gap in India by offering mentorship programs, scholarships, and digital learning resources to those in need. Using blockchain technology, the organization guarantees full transparency and global accessibility, encouraging crypto donors worldwide to support this transformative cause.

The need for mentorship in India has never been greater. A LinkedIn survey found that 70% of young Indian professionals lack a mentor, even among the country’s top talent. In higher education, only 15% of institutions offer formal mentorship programs, leaving many students without guidance. Women face even bigger gaps, with 63% never having had a mentor. Research shows mentorship improves career growth for 70% of men and 63% of women while also reducing negative life outcomes by 46%, Despite nearly 70% of young Indians wanting a mentor, access remains limited. Recognizing these challenges, India Mentorship has launched this campaign to provide structured mentorship, skills training, and digital learning tools tailored to help students navigate their educational journeys. The funds raised will directly support scholarships,

career guidance workshops, and online learning programs designed to equip young minds with the skills necessary for higher education and meaningful employment.

India Mentorship has incorporated blockchain technology into its fundraising process to provide a smooth and transparent donation experience. By accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other cryptocurrencies, the organization offers a global, efficient, and secure method for donors to contribute. The decentralized nature of crypto donations reduces banking fees, ensuring that a higher percentage of funds directly benefit the students. Donors can also track their contributions in real-time.

With a fundraising goal of $500,000, the campaign aims to support thousands of students across India. The funds will be allocated toward educational resources, mentorship programs, and skill-building initiatives, directly addressing the gaps in foundational literacy and numeracy highlighted in the ASER 2023 report. By integrating technology and education, India Mentorship is working toward a sustainable, long-term change in the lives of disadvantaged students.

“This campaign is not just about raising funds—it’s about investing in the future of India’s youth,” said Raghav, coordinator of India Mentorship. “The education gap in our country is widening, and without urgent action, millions of children will be left behind. By leveraging crypto donations, we are bringing together a global community that believes in the power of education and financial inclusion”.

Building on the success of this initiative, India Mentorship plans to introduce more blockchain-based programs to help bridge the education gap. The organization invites crypto enthusiasts, philanthropists, and education advocates to get involved and support the campaign. Donations can be made directly through the organization's website, offering real-time tracking for complete transparency.
