Indus Towers Limited announces that its Board of Directors, at a meeting held earlier in the day, reviewed and deliberated on strategic opportunities to expand the Company’s footprint across select international markets.

Acknowledging the expansion opportunities in developing regions, the Board has sanctioned the Company’s entry into African markets, starting with Nigeria, Uganda, and Zambia. These markets present appealing opportunities for varied revenue streams, scalable operations, and sustainable value generation.

The Company will utilize its strong financial standing and key customer relationship with Bharti Airtel to create a solid and competitive foothold in these areas. In line with its wider growth plan, the Company will keep assessing expansion possibilities in additional African markets where Airtel is already present.

This strategic approach aligns with the Government of India's wider vision of promoting Indian businesses to grow internationally and transform into global corporations.
