Juniper Green Energy has established 305 MW of renewable energy capacity in Gujarat through its subsidiaries under various power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), enhancing its operational portfolio and broadening its footprint in one of India’s vital renewable energy markets.

The recently commissioned capacity includes 183 MWp of solar energy and 122 MW of wind energy projects situated in Surendranagar, Aravalli, Devbhumi Dwarka, and neighboring districts.

The projects are integral to the company's wider strategy to boost renewable energy implementation while facilitating Gujarat's expanding clean energy landscape.

As part of its hybrid energy portfolio, Juniper Green Energy launched 70.56 MWp of solar power under a 150 MW hybrid initiative on April 23, 2026, reaching commercial operations 71 days prior to the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD). The firm later ordered 42.42 MWp of solar power as part of a 120 MW hybrid initiative on May 14, 2026, achieving the milestone 148 days ahead of the planned timeline. An additional 70.07 MWp of solar capacity was brought online on June 3, 2026, for a different 150 MW hybrid project, 30 days prior to the Scheduled Commercial Operation Date (SCOD).

In the wind energy sector, the company finalized the commissioning of two projects in Devbhumi Dwarka, comprising 50.40 MW within a 50 MW wind power initiative and 72.45 MW within a 70 MW wind power initiative.

The commissioning emphasizes Juniper Green Energy’s project execution skills and showcases Gujarat’s key role in the company’s expansion objectives. The state remains a magnet for substantial renewable energy investments owing to its supportive policy landscape, robust transmission infrastructure, and plentiful solar and wind resources.

The company states that the recently launched projects enhance its collaboration with GUVNL while adding more clean power generation capacity to the state's energy portfolio.

Regarding the development, Ankush Malik, CEO of Juniper Green Energy, stated that the commissioning of over 305 MW of renewable energy capacity shows the company’s capability to implement projects effectively while providing dependable clean energy solutions. He noted that the firm continues to concentrate on enhancing capacity in key renewable energy markets within India.
