Kiran Patil Steps in as Wonder Cement's MD

Country’s one of the fastest growing cement manufacturers, Wonder Cement from the prominent R.K Group, appoints Kiran Patil as its managing director. Kiran would be operating out of the company’s headquarters in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Kiran has assumed the role of managing director at Wonder Cement on March 15, post the superannuation of the previous MD, Jagdish Chandra Toshniwal.

Kiran brings in more than 35 years of experience; he is a veteran in the cement industry and is renowned for his innovation-driven approach and project management skills. He also has exposure across different geographies such as the Philippines and Vietnam, apart from the Indian market.

Kiran is a Mechanical Engineer from PDA College of Engineering, Gulbarga University, and also has a Master’s in Finance from Sikkim Manipal University.

In his long career spanning decades, he has served in leadership roles across several functions such as Manufacturing, Maintenance, Projects and Operations. Before to joining Wonder Cement, Kiran served as the Chief Manufacturing Officer (CMO) with ACC, based out of Mumbai. Previously, he was associated with renowned organisations namely Ultratech Cement, Lafarge India and Tata Steel.
