Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Appoints Nitin Selot

Škoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has officially named Nitin Selot as the new Executive Director for Finance, IT, and Legal Affairs, with his role commencing on February 19, 2026. As the Chief Financial Officer of SAVWIPL, Selot will oversee the financial management of the company in India.

Selot has stepped into a new position where he will be responsible for overseeing the financial strategy and IT transformation of the Group. His arrival comes at a crucial time for SAVWIPL as the company is in the process of redefining its processes and fortifying the base of its India operations.

SAVWIPL oversees the India operations of six prominent brands namely Škoda, Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Porsche. Additionally, the company also manages manufacturing facilities located in Pune and Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

With over three decades of leadership experience spanning various sectors, Selot possesses knowledge in strategic financial planning, compliance governance, and comprehensive financial oversight.

Before becoming part of SAVWIPL, he occupied high-ranking positions at reputable companies such as JCB India, Compass Group India, Shell, and Mars Wrigley. Selot is a certified Cost and Management Accountant from the Institute of Cost & Management Accountants of India, holds an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and is also an Associate Company Secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
