LANXESS Appoints Matthias Wolfgruber as the New Chairman of the Supervisory Board

Stockholders at the Annual Stockholder meeting decided to include Pamela Knapp as the new member to the Supervisory Board. Being an economics graduate who was working as the CFO for the market-research company GFK SE in Germany, Pamela boasts of a rich experience at handling various managerial roles in several top companies.
Founded in 2004, LANXESS is a biotechnology firm that distributes chemical products to its clients. With an employee count of over 19,000 in 25 countries, company represented at 74 production sites worldwide. It is also a leading supplier of synthetic rubber and it is also listed in the leading sustainability indices DJSI and FTSE4Good.
