LANXNESS (FWB: LXS), a leading specialty chemicals company, appoints Dr. Matthias L. Wolfgruber as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Dr. Matthias has been in the Supervisory Board since 2015 and the recent constituent meeting elected him as the successor to Dr. Rolf Stomberg, who resigned at the end of today’s Annual Stockholder’s Meeting. However, he was appointed as the Honorary Chairman of the Supervisory Board. It provides advanced intermediates, performance chemicals, performance materials, and ARLANXEO and REACH, which delivers chemical substance handling solutions by offering registration, evaluation and much more.

On his new role, Dr. Matthias, says, “LANXESS has undergone extensive change in recent years, and is on a stable course for growth. Stockholders at the Annual Stockholder meeting decided to include Pamela Knapp as the new member to the Supervisory Board. Being an economics graduate who was working as the CFO for the market-research company GFK SE in Germany, Pamela boasts of a rich experience at handling various managerial roles in several top companies.
