Lindqvist Resigns from Neonode to Explore Leadership Opportunities

Neonode, a Stockholm based optical interactive sending technology company announced the resignation of Lars Lindqvist from his position as Chief Financial Officer as he wishes to explore leadership opportunities outside the company. He also agreed to maintain his commitment to Neonode by rejoining the Board of Directors at a future date.

Lars has served as Chief Financial Officer of Neonode for the last five years and prior to that, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of Neonode between 2011 and 2014. Also to assist the transition, Lars will continue to serve as CFO until mid-2019. However, Neonode has started to search a qualified candidate to fill the permanent CFO position.

Established in 2001, Neonode deals with advanced sensor modules based on the company’s proprietary zForce AIR technology. It enables touch interaction, mid-air interaction and object sensing within automotive, consumer electronics, medical, robotics and other markets. Till date, Neonode has been used in approximately 67 milion products including four million cars and 63 million consumer devices.
